Hi there, my name is Mags. I’m passionate about teaching children throughout the Primary school and have over 20 years of fully qualified experience. I am acutely aware of the pressures faced by children due to the demands of the National Curriculum, large class sizes and time constraints. Through providing a nurturing, encouraging and challenging teaching style, pupils excel in my lessons and at school with increased confidence and skill.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all preparations for the end of year assessments including the Yr1 Phonics Screening Test and KS1 SATS. Teaching 1:1 and small groups helps both myself and the pupil to revisit any aspect of learning they may find challenging and with reassurance prepare them to be fully engaged. My sense of humour ignites greater thirst for learning, I’m used to hearing pupils disbelief when our lesson draws to a close.
